I am very sorry to mason that he is so lame.
I am very sorry to the forum that you're stuck with mason and the rest of the hitler youth.

This is the best a so-called genius can come up with. I would expect more from my 11 year old.

I have a question for people participating. Is it acceptable for a private message of yours to be posted on these boards? I mean aside from unsolicited spam, don't most people have an expectation that their private message is something that will remain private?

[/ QUOTE ]

It's basic email policy that you should never write something in an email or private message that you would not like someone else to read later. Just like if you have a problem with a coworker, it's never wise to discuss it over email. The phone works much better because it's easier to discern tone and there's no proof of harrassment if you do something stupid.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's hardly the point. The fact that I am cognizant of the possibility that the recipient of a private message may make it public is not an excuse for him to do so.

Yeah, if I had written THAT specific PM, I sure wouldn't want it made public. People might think I'm a crybaby (and they'd be right)

Similar to an interview, unless I specifically request my email be kept "off the record", or have a personal relationship of trust and understanding of confidentiality with an individual, I would not be offended if it was shared with the public.
