Default Top pair, avg kicker, facing a bet on the flop.

Live 2 table, 19 person tournament. About 90 mins in.

Hero has t6,500, MP1 has t4,100.

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
1 fold, UTG+1 calls t200, MP1 calls t200, Hero calls t200, 2 folds, button calls t200, SB calls t100, BB raises to t600, UTG+1 calls t400, MP1 calls t400, Hero calls t400, button folds, SB calls t400.

Flop: (t3,200) K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets t1,300 , Hero ?

What's the best play here? Is it a fold pre-flop?

Don't limp. Don't call a raise with kjo. You should be raising any hand worth entering with because you have a chance at the blinds and you find out where you are at. KJo is dominated by a lot of hands the bb would raise with here so you shouldn't bother seeing a flop.
Given the trouble you got yourself into, whether you continue depends on your reads. Taking a turn and seeing if he bets again is viable.
