Default Bubble hand

Big stacks have been atacking blinds with silly minraises.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (4 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Button (t3215)
SB (t675)
Hero (t1340)
UTG (t2770)

Default Re: Bubble hand

i looked at this for a while and really wasn't sure. i would fold for the following reasons:

1.) you are most likely not a huge edge against either hand. you are most likely flipping at best and quite possibly very behind given the action in front of you

2.) shortie is not desperate, but at 3x, the next orbit is pretty much all-in for him

3.) if you're really lucky, either someone's busting or someone's getting crippled on this hand. either one greatly helps your equity.

reasons i could think for pushing (that i felt were outweighed by the reasons above):

1.) shortie is one double through from catching up

2.) a flip isn't bad at all given the dead money in the pot

3.) winning here puts you in a great position to win

4.) often UTG will just call and fold the flop if he his AJo doesn't hit, prolonging the bubble pain
