Some of them are kind of serious and some of them are joking, or half serious, like Sklansky for "the system". I got the idea for the Nobel Prize, since Sklansky said he could have won one, and he does make important contributions to poker theory.

I didn't read the other stuff like why they were nominated. I got the idea for the Nobel Prize, since Sklansky said he could have won one, and he does make important contributions to poker theory.
