Default Weird, frustrating live situation

$2-4nl Sycuan casino

Effective stacks:~$400

Villian is a young guy, plays kind of funky. He has been limping with a lot of good hands and complaining about missing with big A's. He has raised twice but not showndown either hand. He is pretty nice and the table has a fun atmosphere. I think he enjoys the social aspect of the game moreso than the money.

My image is okay. I have been lagging it up, goofing around, but I think the table has some definite respect for my game. I have stabbed at quite a few pots, etc but not showndown any donk plays.

NLSoiler is UTG and live straddles.

I call UTG+1 with K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Random people limp, soiler min raises, call.

Pot: $45
K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Checked to me, I bet $35. As I am cutting my bet, Villian says "Be careful, I have a King..." He calls, all others fold.

Pot: $115
K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img])
Once the K peels off he says, "Oh now theres no way you could have a king!" I act awkwardly and bet out $35 quietly.

He min raises to $70. I am kind of hem and haw while cutting my chips to try to figure out how best to get the money in. While I do Villian flashes his K and shrugs, trying to let me know to fold...

How best can I get the money in now that he knows, I know, he has a K? WTF is my plan of action?

Turn over your 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and push.

try to make it look like a bluff now that you know his hand.

Uh, then it is insanely obvious I have 99 or better. He is more than capable of folding his hand. He is not retarded. Decent and just having fun.

Meh, you're gonna have to make him believe you're full of it anyway... Problem with showing the 9 is it eliminates the possibility of a semibluff. I would push in here. He'll call only if he's full as well or he thinks you're full of it, but that's the only way he'll call anyway.

You don't have to actually flash the 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. No matter what you do you are probally not going to get paid. So stick it in there and hope he thinks you are bluffing or he has K4.

If you believe he has a K bet at least $100 on the turn.

the plan had been: weak continuation, he raises, i donk push the river, he calls, i stack. (you have to trust my about my image, previously played hands, table betting habits, and the chance [one that has now siginificantly increased] that he was just BSing. i normally would follow through for more, however)

it seemed to be working out okay until he showed the K and made any move I made seem retarded.

yeah, I just think you give him far less chance of getting off if you make a proper bet. With a K he's not folding and he may well just go ahead & hang himself right there. If he flat calls the pot is over $300 and you both have less than that back.

If you weak-lead the pot it means you will either be 3-betting big on the turn, which looks very strong, or, as you say, donk-pushing river. If that works for your image, then fine, just looks stronger to me than 'not believing' he has a K and trying to push him out on the turn.

And yeah, it sucks he showed you the K. Probably best to flash your K back & just stuff it all with some comment about kickers or chopping or something.
