Default 5/10 6-Max. Turned Straight.

What's the plan here and on the river? I had been raising and cont. betting a lot, and I made my turn bet small, hoping he'd play back. I got what I wanted. Now what?

I don't know what type your opponent is but he dosen't put you on a 8 (or 3) and you have acted rather weak on the turn. If he is a aggressive thinking player he might try to push you off your over pair (as he thinks you have). I say you have to re-raise the hand. With $585 in the pot you have to push. That's my advice. Push all the way! If he have the 89 nine.. Well good for him. Reload and play the next hand.

I mean, you raise 89 preflop for on reason. If you hit anything good you might break somebody that doesn't put you on it.. So get all the money into the middle.

And you have to protect your hand against any drawing hand. (Flush or Boat).

It seems quite unlikely that the opponent is drawing.

How can you say that when we don't know anything about our opponent?
