No. I'm probably 3 betting the flop. Since you didn't I lead the river and call a raise; I don't want that river getting checked through.

Given your read I think you could fold the turn, but I don't think I would without more than just stats on him (does he raise with draws?).

I three bet the flop, lead/call the turn, bet the river if he just calls the turn, check call the river if he raises the turn

Read this thread (one of the best I've ever read on 2+2)...

I like calling the flop, and betting the turn. If villain is raising a draw then you don't want to be giving any free cards. If you are raised on the turn, then I would call down. If villain just calls and the river is a blank, then I would bet again.

I don't see a fold here, but I think you should go for a check raise on the flop. With a check raise you can fold people with gutshots, backdoor flushes and pairs. In this case it wouldn't have worked since the raise came to your left. The result was the same though.
Did he have AJ? If he had AK, take a note on him.

<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>3-bet this every time. </pre><hr />

What tables do you play on? Hero is probably beat here against most opponents, no reason to 3-bet and lead the turn.
In this hand, Villain is LP so he could have many cards when he calls, but not when he raises!

Now I have an exam in 4 hours so I should start studying...
