private internet software

Is there any software available, that say, lets me have a tournament with a group of private friends. Say I had a group of 10-20 people who wanted to play a weekly sitngo type thing on the internet but dont want to fuss with online poker sites or firepay or any of that. Is there any software you can buy, say, and distribute to your 10-20 friends that will allow some kind of hookup/tournament without having to plug into various online poker sites. I realize some websites offer private tourneys, but some of my guys wont fudge with it. I had read somewhere that someone was distributing software like this, but wasnt sure.
