Default ($22) Trying to induce a bluff-raise on the river with a min-bet

And/or to protect me from having to show my hand. And/or to try to get a bit of value.

Yes I should probably have bet on the turn, but given that I didn't, what do you think of the little river bet? I just feel so confident that I have the best hand here (& that if I don't cos someone has JJ, I'm not getting raised) that I don't see much downside to betting.

why woudl you think anyone had JJ? and why no raise preflop?

well i think you should have had bet earlier but since you waited till the river i think this is a good line to take.. i did something like this yeesterday, and just tossed ina min bet at the end after a lot of checked.. guyy came over the top w/ absolutely nothign and it worked well.

So, yea i think that minbet is alright.

cos people sometimes limp in with JJ and then check down their nut underpair in a multiway pot. don't get me wrong, i don't think it's at all likely.

I didn't raise cos there was a nice multiway pot brewing and I was looking forward to stacking someone when I flopped my set. Since my implied odds are so good, I'd rather take this line, where I stand to win a lot while risking little. If I raise I either win a tiny pot or have a potentially quite tricky flop to play. Also, I really don't want to give anyone a chance to blow me off my hand by re-raising preflop.
