espn says 2.4m for beckett, 1.85 for arroyo.
clement is 6.5, which shows you how out of whack these things can get. ive never looked closely at the sox payroll all together, i knew ortiz did not earn much but i didnt know that trot nixon earns 8m, renteria earns 7, and ortiz earns 5.2.

[/ QUOTE ] I was assuming Beckett made much more. My bad.I'd rather have Arroyo at his salary than Beckett at a Clement type salary.
