MP1 ($49.5)
MP2 ($13.55)
MP3 ($80.85)
CO ($55.15)
Hero ($63.8)
SB ($51.1)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP1 calls $0.50, MP2 calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $3</font>, SB (poster) calls $2.75, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $8</font>, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, Hero ????

The limp-reraise from UTG with AA or KK is pretty standard. I will call and see if I can catch a set but I would not put too much money into the pot unless that happens even if no overs appear.

You're precisely correct. You do not have the odds to play for set value &amp; the correct play here is a fold unless you think he's capable of making this play with anything you've got beat. Even then you should probably fold.

P.S. You wouldn't get yourself into these situations so often if you'd freakin' acknowledge a greeting now and then. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Didn't see the stack sizes. Well, either fold or reraise shorty all-in in the odd chance he isn't packing an overpair. It's a relatively small amount to risk to find out.
