Default Would you watch minor league basketball/football?

Sammykid11 got me thinking when he suggested many cities could support minor league basketball and football.

There is no market for this anywhere.

Why? I"d watch minor league football. I'd be more into it if they played upper round picks, but I'd def watch it. Especially the Jets farm games...

I voted yes because I like keeping up with college players (I like watching college sports more than pro sports). However, I don't think that these leagues would be particularly appealing to a wide-enough audience.

Because unlike baseball, college football and basketball are hugely popular.

It seems to me that I would not take an interest in either simply because I have college teams to watch and pro teams to watch. I already don't care about arena football or the NFL Europe (the few times it's on TV) and I certainly have enough quality college basketball to watch and keep up to date on.

Only if someone puts a line up for it.

I would definately watch minor league football if the individiual franshices each own a team or 2 and put their players and prospects on the team a la Baseball. However, if it was just a minor league where some of the playrs didn't belong to a team and some did a la Hockey I would not watch. But minor league football is basically college football except the college players would make more money.
