[EPT] Age Restrictions?
The details of the age limit in the EPT events seem a little sketchy. I know ZeeJustin of 2+2 made a Final Table last year and is under 21, but I read something in the rules that is confusing me:
". Entrants must be 18 years of age or over the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction (whichever is greater) to play either in satellites or in any of the Events. All players will be required to produce proof of age (passport or other valid picture ID). Any player unable to produce such proof of age will be disqualified from participation in any of the Events, and no refund of any kind will be made. " So does this mean I can't qualify to one of the events on PokerStars if im under 21? |

Re: [EPT] Age Restrictions?
I'm pretty sure it's 18. But why don't you just email pokerstars and ask them? The age limit for gambling in Europe is usually 18, however some countries may have higher limits.
I think it's the same thing with alcohol. If you can't drink in America(21) but you travel to Europe(18) it would be pretty stupid if some one said: "You can't drink here boy since you couldn't do it in your own country." |
