Default I Wanna Fold My Nut Draw

Nothing notable about villains so far.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, UTG+2 raises, 2 folds, MP3 3-bets, CO calls, 1 fold, Hero caps, BB calls, UTG+2 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls.

Flop: (20 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, UTG+2 raises, MP3 calls, Hero calls, BB 3-bets, UTG+2 caps, MP3 calls, Hero calls, BB calls.

Check/call,call,call is the way to go on this flop right?

Turn: (18 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, UTG+2 calls, MP3 calls, Hero calls.

Sure I'm getting 21:1 on my call, but the reverse implied odds are astounding man! JT really comes into mind. Should this be a clear laydown?

River: (22 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, UTG+2 calls, MP3 calls, Hero calls.

Hi I'm a fish.

Final Pot: 26 BB

At first I thought this was a joke post since you had a royal and misclicked at the end Then I realized you were offsuit.

I'd bet the flop and no way in hell I fold that turn. Sometimes your drawing dead, other times your getting better odds than needed.

River I would do the same.

If I hit a royal I would crap my pants since two villains had Fullboats.

But its good to know I'm not a donking station.

just to note: that guy who said to bet this flop is... well, to put it politely: [censored] wrong.

way to stick around for your gutshot draw, hit it, and not raise on the river though...

in all seriousness, i'd toss in a raise here.

i'd also stop calling a full house, or a boat, a full boat. i'm not sure how that got started, or how it entered the poker lexicon as a proper term, but it's [censored] retarded. yes, i know i'm "wrong," but i will crusade against the "full boat" until the day i die, because it's clearly an amalgamation of two other terms by some frickin' idiots that has been adopted by people unsure which term is more correct, full house, or boat.

I'd never thought about raising this river. Would you fold if it was 2 bets back to you?

Your right. I was giving credit for overcards, but based on preflop action, doesn't seem like they are good.

Hope I didn't hurt anyones game too badly.

This looks fine to me. I can see an argument for just calling preflop but capping is fine IMO. Flop and turn check/call seem standard. The river is somewhat questionable. I can see betting out or check/raising but check/call actually seems OK. I think I like a check/raise though since you're almost always ahead of UTG+2 and MP3 and BB will have a worse straight a lot of the time.

Well it looks like I have to stop playing all weak-tight and results oriented. I have a braodway and should raise my strong holding.

Results in white below:
Hero has Ah Kd (straight, ace high).
BB has Ts Tc (full house, tens full of jacks).
UTG+2 has Qc Qd (full house, queens full of jacks).
MP3 has Kh Ac (straight, ace high).
CO has 6h Ad (one pair, jacks).
Outcome: UTG+2 wins 26 BB.

CO is my new buddy.
