I'm paying about 6BB/100 in rake at their 5-max games at 3/6

Okay, I'm not accusing you of intentionally lying or being disengenious (I want to be clear about that), but are you sure? Perhaps you made an error somehow, punched a number in wrong when using a calculator... something. I know thier rake is insane for online poker (which is why I don't play there) but this seems too outrageous.

I think that's about right, especially if he's spending some time < 5 handed.

The "every flop is raked" philosophy at PR is just going to cream low-limit shorthanded players.

At Full Tilt the other night I played $2/$4 heads up for an hour. We paid $20 in rake, and I cleared $1.11 of bonus. That was awesome.

I earned $2 after playing 1 hour of 15/30 stud8 heads up and about $70 was raked. At least they only take $.50 heads up and not $1 like many other places.

When agreed time was up I even told the guy lets play until one of us is up just so the house would not be only winner.

As for PR rake I played 2/4 stud8 and it was raking $2 max 3 handed and at $22 or $24 it had taken $1.60 in rake. The only thing that makes Pacific worse is the $4 max. Like another poster stated 10/20+ it is actually better because it is based on big bets.

That's 'only' 36 cents a hand, so only $1.80 per 5 handed hand. They rake .50 cents per flop and $2 at 4 BB, so that seems believable. Also, [censored] absurd.

Weird, it didn't create any HH folders for me. Did eurobet create a PR folder by chance?

[/ QUOTE ]

Make sure to enable statistics, it won't store any HH until you do this. (From download client, go to "statistics" and "enable statistics".

I don't/won't play there without a bonus to clear or rb.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's definitely a good idea, although I'm wondering if it's even worth it with a bonus to clear.

I'm also working on this bonus on this horrible network's rake schedual. With the $600 bonus, I'm wondering what the net rake is. Has anyone worked this out?

But just to bitch some more about how bad it is there.. On pokerroomrake.com, it says that at $3-$6 is maxed at $3. It goes from a rake of $1.20 @ $30 (not bad), to $3.00 @ $35 (god awful). Most rooms rake more incrementally. For instance, PartyPooper takes out $1.50 @ $35 and $3.00 @ $60, with increments of $0.50 in between.

I probably won't be playing there after I clear the bonus.

Good idea actually. Forgot to mention that NL and PL isn't bad like limit. I just prefer to multitable limit.
