Default Did I play this too passively?

Alrite, this is my first hand post, so lets see if I'm doing this correctly. Table is very loose, very passive

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (7 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
2 folds, MP2 calls, Hero calls, Button calls, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (5 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP2 checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: (2.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP2 checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

River: (2.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP2 checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

Final Pot: 2.50 BB

Basically, at the flop, I checked assuming I would fold. When the turn hit, I still checked down because I was out of position, had a low pocket pair.
At the river, I checked down, still out of position, and still really unsure of my hand.

Sadly, that's exactly how I'd play it.

Ugh.

I would bet the turn and river.

I would fold if reraised.

I think you are fine here. This is one of the few instances where I would find the "Fold to Any Bet" box and check it too!

Taking a stab at this pot is not worth the risk of a check raise.

you are definitely not out of positoin, you're 2nd last to act!

If not betting the turn, I'd definitely bet the river, probably fold to a raise, auto-muck for a c/r.

well, I guess it's only nice that I post results now that this thread seems dead?

SB has Jd 8d (three of a kind, fives).
BB has 4s 2h (three of a kind, fives).
MP2 has 4c Qc (three of a kind, fives).
Hero has 3d 3c (full house, fives full of threes).
Button has Jh Td (three of a kind, fives).
Outcome: Hero wins 2.50 BB.

hey,

I play in a game (5/10 6max) where a turn bet often buys the pot here. I would fire there (2 checks plus a button check is a LOT of information) and that's all the money I put into the pot. it easily has worked for me 1 time in N in these kinds of spots, but I'm more used to the 3 handed pots.

with any read of these dudes as loose you may want to pass up a turn bet and wait for a larger pot to invest the bling blign

EDIT: yeah you probably arent buying it against 5 players. well played
