Keep records...
I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question.
This question is to anyone who keeps any kind of records on hands. Like, how many times they win with AA, how many sets they hit. I know for me I remember basically the whole week. What hands I won, which bigger hands I lost. I also keep a small record on my win/loss % of the following hands. AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, 99, AKs, AKo, AQs, AQo, AJs, AJo, KQs, KQo, KJs, KJo, QJs. I keep track of the w/l as well as if I played the hand, if I tied, if I just won the blinds, and if I hit a set. My actual question is what kind of W/L % should I really expect with any of these hands? I haven't been keeping track for very long. Maybe 60-70 hours so far, but I find the results startling. I'd appreciate any input anyone has. |

Re: Keep records...
You should concern yourself more with the overall dollar amount won. Percentages can be decieving. Winning 4 out 5 sessions, for example, is a nice winning percentage, but if you showed a loss for the same 5 session period, does it really matter?

Re: Keep records...
https://www.pokerroom.com/evstats/to...p?order=valuei found these links in a reply from a site in an ealier thread. they are all useful.
https://www.pokerroom.com/evstats/ i think the last one here helps you the best. but all three are very interesting tools. if you get confused and wonder why A2 has a more negative value than 72 off, it is because people are smart enough to fold A2, but get sucked into calling some bets with A2. http://www.pokerroom.com/info-integr...alAnalysis.php |
