69 always gets a raise out of me! (Semi-low content)
Just a fun little hand. Besides folding PF what do you think? (I accidentally misclicked while watching tv when I though I had 98s :P)

IMO, preflop actions rank as follows:
raise>call>fold I really can't see folding this ever unless given a very good reason to do so given conditions. fim |

Right now I don't raise medium suited connectors (which is what I thought I had), because at the levels I play the players are less likely to notice I only raise with big hands. Only if I'm being perceived as a rock will I start raising with these hands.

Hijack- SC preflop play
With SC's I normally play them the same was PF as I would AJs. That is; fold from EP, limp in MP if limped before, raise if folded to.
SC's and S1G's and S2G's. This good or bad? I'm talkin about the 100xBB stacks at PS |

Re: Hijack- SC preflop play
I call SC above 45 from any position, and I will call PF raises of 2x-3x BB with position on the raiser with any SC (unless one of us is down to abou 20x BB).
Basically up to 10% of the smaller stack, with position, and limp with any. I raise some SC on the button, and some S1G as well from time to time, my range is 78s+ and 8-10s+ (but I don't always raise those). |

Re: 69 always gets a raise out of me! (Semi-low content)
you have a good amount of limping and a good amount of money in the pot right now. there is a poster with 1BB sitting there begging to be stolen. a raise will
- get you the button for a hand likely to flop position-needing draws - get you the chance to take free cards on those likely draws as people will check to you - get the chance to instantly win a pot worth much more than 69s is worth limping in long term. - get you paid big when you hit fim |
