First limit post. How am I doing?
I'm a NL player trying to learn limit. This is actually my first stab at the game. Total limit experience: about 60ish hands. This being one of them.

Re: First limit post. How am I doing?
Any reads?
Against an unknown I call down after he caps the flop or if I hit a 9 I may put in a raise. Obviously with reads this hand changes greatly. |

Re: First limit post. How am I doing?
Any reads on UTG+2? Checkraising the feild like that usually says either "I have a monster hands (set)" or "I have a monster draw (OESD on this board)," but it can also mean "I am an absolute maniac and I love action baby!"
This is clear (I think). You call the checkraise on the flop. Then if he bets again raise to protect this hand on the turn. |

Agression factor is an important stat.

[/ QUOTE ] uh aggression factor will jump all over the place when you only have 31hands, don't put any faith into it what works best, is the oldfashioned WATCH THE OTHER PLAYERS, stats help in tough decisions, and are useful once you have a decent database on them |

Re: First limit post. How am I doing?
Yea, I make it a habit not to use PT often for reads on others, I use it to check up on myself. Anyways, normally I do pay attention and try to read my opponents. Today, I'm dead tired and multi-tasking. Not the best way to play poker, but meh.

Re: First limit post. How am I doing?
Against an unknown I'm calling down here. You showed strength before and on the flop, and this guy clearly says he doesn't care - he likes his hand. If I spike a 9 I'm tossing in a raise, otherwise I'm going to just keep hitting my call button.
