Default 6-max guidelines...

I think I might like to try my hand at 6-max games since everyone has been saying that's where the money is. How much should I loosen up PF for these games? Are ragged aces playable? Offsuit connectors? Is MPTK worth anything?

Can anyone direct me to a post that covers this?

If it's true and you are possible running bad and tilting it's probably a good idea to stay away as the variance is huge and you'll have to go through a awkward phase of seeing how much more aggression and looseness you'll need to play 6 max. But here are a few good posts.

FWIW, I went on a 500 dollar downswing when I switched to 6max. Part was due to some of the usual variance and suckouts and some was due to being out of my element. I am just now about even and have much smaller swings after about 7,000 hands. It's so hard to go back to full ring after playing 6max. It's just so boring.
