what makes the royal flush story so unbelievable? yes, it's exceedingly rare to flop a royal flush, but it can and does happen ... i find that story much more believable than the "burn cards" one, to be honest.

true or not, the burn cards story is still great.

It's not that he flopped a royal, but that he got so much action. It's every player's dream that when they flop a royal, they're up against another made Broadway and 2 pair/set that fills up on the turn and goes to war with the 2nd or 3rd nuts. I'm surprised Jeff didn't give the opponent KK so he'd have quads vs. royal. I mean, both stories are possible, but they're also the kind of stories that guys like that enjoy telling as apocryphal means of entertainment.

Either way, I like them.

yeah ... it could be a tall tale but, as far as tall tales go, the logic of how the hand is played as well as the cards held makes perfect sense.
