Do you call one bet on the river if you don't fill up?

I'm calling one bet on the river here and am going to cry if it is two to me.

Calls down unless more paint hits on the river and you are facing two bets.

OK I did call the flop waiting for a safe turn card to raise.

Hero calls

Turn: A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

UTG checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, UTG 3 bets, UTG+1 calls, Hero?

[/ QUOTE ]

Hey Stealthy getting 15:1 closing the action folding isn't an option.

[/ QUOTE ]

lol I knew that the options were raise (bad) or call (good), never fold (terrible).

I went into calldown mode but did not expect to win the pot. The river was a brick and it went

UTG bets, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls.

UTG has AJ of something, the same as me basically. UTG+1 had a set of 9s and he takes down a nice pot.

Oh well. Another day another dollar down the drain!

As others said, calling the flop raise and raising a safe turn is probably your best move. After the turn 3-bet, I'm calling down.

What are we doing on a non-safe turn?
