Default AA

After 76 hands, UTG is 38/22/0.96
After 446 hands, MP is 17/13.7/2.31

After MP 3-bets the turn, what is the best line? call down or ..... ?

this is a close one. if might depend on what your table image was..

if you think he can go this apeshit w/ KK or QQ, it's worth a cap. However I'm scared of TT, and if you cap he can easily C/R the river, getting another bet.

There's also a chance that he has the other AA.

I dunno.. I need more than a set of #'s to go one way or the other. I guess I call down.

only thing else I can really say about MP is that he seems overly tight for $10/$20 SH. I can't remember him ever getting out hand.

A number of weeks ago, I pretty much owned him in another session... but who knows if he remembers that.

He may be a 2+2'er... or at least his name has been noted for berating people at the table.... (I think his chat is now banned because he never says a word that I've seen).

I cap the turn and call a river bet if he leads. I think tens might have tried to check raise the turn after you capped the flop. I feel like he has kings and is alittle over zealous.

do players like MP routinely bet-3 bet the flop into PFRs with TT? has he seen you raise overcards on boards like this?

then again, do they routinely go apeshit on the turn like that with JJ/QQ/KK?

I guess I call down at this point because I'm never that sure he has TT as opposed to like KK or the other AA

He's really agg post, I think I'd pop again on the turn. TT is a less likely 3-bet for this opponent than JJ-AA preflop, but I bet he'd still do it...

I'm gonna predict he had aces too.

ill cap the turn and if lead into on the river ill just call. i expect to see AA-JJ i guess and hopefully we're good. but after the flop cap and turn cap if he hasn't realized his QQ is no good and leads into us on the river maybe he has TT or AA....

Looks like itīs either KK or TT, since itīs 2:1 for KK and you win 1 extra bet by capping vs KK, but lose 2 extra vs TT, asuming he check-raise the river, if he bets out, then you call and only lose one extra.

Since the hand disstribution is the same as the odds, with a little extra speaking for a raise, since he may lead the river, what matters is how much either should be weighed.

Iīm not sure this guy would bet-3bet the flop with TT, but it seems like a very likely line with KK. The turnplay is ofcourse more likely with TT, but overall I think KK should be weighed more than TT, making it a cap.

If the board wasnīt paired low, you could flatcall, intending to raise rivercards he would have a hard time 3betting, such as clubs, queens, perhaps jacks.
