Default blind defense against a dude that steals with any 2

so do i suck or what?

with regards to preflop, i don't know if this hand is really playable or not, so opinions on that would be appreciated. (i guess it's more like "almost any two" than actually any two" that the dude would steal with)

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, Button raises, 1 fold, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

River: (5.25 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, Button raises, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.25 BB

1) could you have check raised the river here? (i.e. is he aggressive enough that he'd bet this for FE)
2) good line postflop, I like it.

I'd play it just that way.

I also defend there, and like the postflop

Seems close between check-raise and bet on the end. I´m also close to 3betting the river.

Is villain as laggy post flop as he is preflop?

I like check raising the turn if he's sensible post flop, and I like check calling the turn and lead-3betting the river if he's a nut.

This is just speculation, but intuitively I think if a guy steals with almost any two then you can defend with absolutely any two heads up. You are getting 3.5 to 1 after all.
