Default Absolute Deposit Bonus

I've cleared most of the deposit bonuses at the major sites, and I'm trying to figure out where to go next. I live in Canada and only have a Canadian bank account, so as far as I know, I can't do the IGM Pay bonuses (please correct me on this if I'm wrong). The 35% up to $350 on Absolute looks pretty lucrative to me.

How much traffic runs through that site, and how is the quality of the .50/1 1/2 and 2/4 games? Which limit would you reccomend to clear that bonus (or should I stay away from Absolute)? Finally, on BW it says you clear $1 in bonus for every 10 raked hands - does this mean $1 is released every 10 hands, or do I have to clear all $350 before its released?

Thanks

ABS is an okay site. I usually stay away from it because it's very slow, like 40 hands per hour if your lucky.

The low limit games are pretty soft when I've played on them.

The bonus is released $10 at a time for every 100 raked hands where the rake is 25 cents.

I'd do the bonus on $1/2 if that's not too high for you as you'll get around 75% of your hands raked.

The good part is that Absolute releases the bonus in $10 amounts and they show you how far along you are in the cashier which is easy to check. The other good part is that you just need to clear $10 every 60 days to keep the bonus alive so I play this site on the side every so often.
As far as the bonus goes.. it sounds great but in reality it is a very slow and tedious grind. I think there are other better choices but you can start this one as a backup.

Hmmm... so 3500 raked hands to clear the full $350. You can play 3 tables max, going at 40 hands per hour. I'm going to overestimate a little and say 100 of those 120 hands are raked at 1/2.

So basically to clear this bonus, I will be making about $10 per hour, and will need to play Absolute for 35 hours. Does that estimate sound right? This doesn't really seem worth it, but I would appreciate feedback.

According to BW, playing $1/2, you will make about $5 an hour per table of bonus money. So if you 3-table, that's $15 an hour.

It isn't the best bonus, but it's always good to have a "rainy day" bonus site. If there's nothing better to do (ie Party skin bonus) then you just hittup Absolute and play a little.

I didn't know this but it was said in the other post, as long as you play once every 2 months, the bonus stays alive. So I guess it isn't too bad.

From my records about 70% of 1/2 hands are raked so this is definitely an overestimation, and this is full not short handed. The clearing rate for me at 1/2 was closer to $3-4/hr per table. Nearly all of the hands at 2/4 are raked, and the competition isn't much better. You will run into a lot of people who buy in really short as well. I do recommend signing up for rakeback or at least through a comp site such as ecasinodeals. If interested in rakeback check out www.rakerebatereview.com which has listings of the different affiliates and the sites they offer.

For Absolute, 1/2 6-max is the way to go for bonus clearing. Very easy to beat and most hands are raked with about 60-75 hands/hour.

Why would you recommend rakeback here? I would be playing this site strictly for bonuses, and is my MGR not deducted from my bonus money? How would I make anything from rakeback?

Yea, actually I forgot about 6-max. That's what I played at the Cryptos, and I did find it much easier than the full limit games, and far more hands per hour. Thanks

In the process of clearing my first $200 there I made a little more than $50 through rakeback. Some of that came from playing mostly 2/4 though. I lately came back here and cleared another $100 and have earned around ~$30 in rakeback, although most of my play was at 3/6. I'm not sure if the bonus money is taken from the MGR but since they have reloads nearly every week or so the extra money is still worth it. If you're only planning on clearing the $350 and leaving Absolute forever than the Ecasinodeals sign up might be better. They will give you about $60 for signing up in the form of gift certs for either Amazon, or Dell or you could order something through their store.
