Why are you so obsessed with raising AQo preflop?

In general I will bet a flush draw into a lot of people given the following conditions.

<ul type="square">[*]Nut flush or second nut flush draw [*]I have the chips to afford it. I play UB more chips there. [/list]I may check-raise a nut flush draw if the flop is monotone and therefore I can represent the made flush to a late position min-better who may still be chasing a non-nut flush. Check-raising weakies is risky but a nice way to deal with being out of position.

Do these hands ever take 2 days to play out? If not, why does the website you play at insist on putting the date and hour at each line..

There's a huge difference between flopping a flush draw with suited holecards, and the flop being single-suited with you holding the bare ace of that suit.

You won't get action from smaller flush draws, and when you do hit your flush you don't get paid off by TP or two pair. Sometimes by the king-high flush, cause he can't stand to get bluffed out, and rarely anything worse.

The min-raise should scare you. You should know you're beat, and try to play the rest of the hand as cheaply as possible until you hit a flush.

As for raising AQ cause it's a "solid hand"...well, it becomes a lot less solid when you play it out of position against four opponents for a raise. So I wouldn't get overly excited about it. I dump it preflop in your position, and if I play it's certainly not going to be for a raise. On the off chance I do raise, it's going to be bigger than what is essentially a min raise, given the amount currently in the pot.
