Add some thyme and a pinch of brown sugar to that and you're in business...and I don't even like green beans.

cheese grits
do sweet cornbread instead
baked beans
creamed corn or corn on the cob
cole slaw
turnip greens
green beans with sweet ham
sweet potatoe caserole with sweetner (various ways)

if i think of more ill let u know...
