Borgata by public transit from NYC

Anyone go to the Borgata by bus? Not too many buses seem to head over to the marina district and none seem to stop at the Borgata. How do you get there? Take a cab from another casino?

I had to cab over from Harrah's. THe Harrah's doorman told me that was the only way.

Take a bus to the Showboat, and then take a taxi.

The Borgatta did this on purpose.

it's only around a $9 cab ride from the taj/showboat if i remember correctly.

I called Borgata Customer Support and they currently have no service from NYC via Bus Tour companies. I believe Harran coachways has a bus to the Trump Marina from Long Island, but in any case Atlantic City Cabbies have a $8 cap between any of the casinos so you can pretty much take your bus in to wherever you're going to get the best cashback/comps. I've seen the AC jitney but I have no idea if it goes from the Boardwalk casinos to the marina.

I don't get it. How does this advantage the casino?

I took Academy to the Showboat and a cab from there.

Nice room. Good waitress service. But some of the dealers are awful.

The games at the Borgota on Saturday during the day were pretty wild. $10/20 Hold 'Em was playing more like a $3/6 California game. 8 players or more seeing the flop was not uncommon. People calling 2 or 3 bets cold with hands like 97o. Players drawing to gutshots in pots capped on the flop and turn.

That seemed like nothing compared to another table where they were playing $15/30 stud. Two pair, 10s and 2s took down a pot that was over $800. On another hand they had to have acommunity card for the final card!

I took a cab to the Trump Marina to catch the bus back.
