PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (4 handed) converter

UTG (t3885)
Button (t3728)
Hero (t3745)
BB (t2142)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to t800</font>, Hero calls t700, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to t2142</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to t3484</font>, Hero folds.

Was the initial call a mistake?

no, calling is not a necessarily a mistake. how to play this hand depends alot on the type of player the button is. does he raise alot? if so, does he fold to re-raises? (you might consider going over the top). has he shown down any hands hes raised with?

definitely a good fold after the re raise though.
