Default OT-Keep my donkish advice to myself for now?

So, I've been posting here for a little while, and it seems as if about half the times I respond to a thread, I'm right on the money, and the other half, I totally give bad advice or show what a donk I am. What do you guys think? Is it better for a noob to post specific hands I'm reviewing, and wait for and try to learn from better posters responses to strategy threads? Or, should I just keep posting my bad and good advice?
Thanks

continue posting your hands

continue posting advice

when people criticize your advice, think about it, use it to improve your play and your advice

i'm sure you're already doing that though

so you're ok

If you have reasons for your advice, coherently explain those reasons, and learn from the times other posters explain why your reasoning is incorrect in specific cases, I'd think your posts would have value.

I know I learn more from the posts were I post advice and are corrected, than the posts I only read or ask how my line was.

I hope you decide to continue to post. I recommend posting blind without reading other replies, thats what I always do.

Change your avatar. That one sucks.

Often there are different ways to play hands that are valid, especially when what differs are nuances such as bet size.

As long as people can explain why they are doing something, everyone else can evaluate if they think it is the best line. And people here generally aren't that shy about telling someone if they think their advice is not the best way to play a hand.

I just post and duck because I know whats coming back at me. I usually learn more from my bad responses than I do from my original posts! Most of your "truly" good players love the opportunity to spread some knowledge to the noob's.

As I've learned first hand, when you're completely wrong people will point it out and, in most cases, explain why. I've only had one instance where someone outright refused to explain his reasoning with me. Just take everything with a grain of salt and remember that people aren't attacking you personally, even though sometimes it seems that way. Some will be graceful about it and others will rip you to shreds for a post, but either way don't despair. I've learned a lot from people correcting my posts.
