Default Do you guys keep record of your live play?...

If so, what do you keep track of, and what do you use to keep track of it (like a note book or journal)?

Excel spreadsheet.

I carry a small wire-bound notebook into the poker room and hide it in a pocket so I can write down details in the restroom or otherwise away from sight of my opponents.

I'm also a huge nerd, so I track tokes and drink tips.

Yes I use the free Poker Analyst at http://www.cardplayer.com/poker-analyst/overview/ to record all my live playing sessions. Simple stuff but effective to see how I'm doing for the year.

I do.

I keep a written record on a note card in my 'poker wallet' that when it fills up gets transferred to an Excel spredsheet
For each location and each limit I have a distinct 'sheet' within the more encompassing spreadsheet. On each of those I keep track of the following info for each session:

Date/Time start
Date/Time end
Buy-in
Cash-out
Size of the big bet if cash game
Place finished in tourney if a tourney

From that info I calculate for each session:
total hours played
total cash won/lost
# big bets won/lost
# big bets won/lost per hour
Average big bets won/lost per hour

I keep a running total for the each game (location/limit) of all this info as well.

Finally on a separate 'sheet' I total everything up to get:

total buy-ins
total cash-outs
net winnings
total hours played
%/hr

Excel spreadsheet.

*gasp* I lied. Such is Microsoft's mindshare in the spreadsheet market....

I actually use OpenOffice, which is free and capable of saving in XLS format.

I use StatKing. Excel does everything SK does, so that's totally viable. You could use the OpenOffice spreadsheet program if you don't have Excel.
