Quick question on empire rakeback

Do I have to contribute to the pot to be credited rakeback, or do I get it just for sitting at the table and posting my blinds?

Every hand you are dealt.

you just need to be dealt cards. and of course, the hand itself needs to be raked (seen flop with adequate pot size).
