Default K8s, stealing - continuation bets g00t?

I'm incredibly cold-decked, today. Haven't seen a hand to play in about 3 orbits, except 22 in MP3 (which I don't like playing, and had to dump on the flop). I don't think the table is good enough, generally, to notice how tight I've been, tho, so it's not doing me any good.

Table is generally passive. The only guy I really worry about (loose, but capable) is sitting out a few hands. When this is checked to me, it looks like a good steal opportunity.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
4 folds, Hero raises, CO calls, 1 fold, SB calls, 1 fold.

CO is slightly loose, moderately aggressive preflop, very passive postflop. SB is super-loose, and about the same aggression as CO.

Flop: (7 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, CO folds, SB calls.

Continuation betting, plus the strong flush draw. Got rid of one of 'em.

Turn: (4.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero ?

I want to bet again, especially with the scare card falling. Is this because I'm hideously bored, or is it a good play? Am I just setting myself up for a check-raise?

Chances are it scared SB as well, I think a bet is fine

I don't like the PF play at all. You're not going to steal the blinds, and you probably won't even buy the button unless you know CO and button are unusually tight for micro players. Just fold.

The flop is fine.

The turn is tough. On one hand, I have fold equity from my aggession and the scare card. On the other hand, I have a bunch of outs, so I can't fold if I get checkraised. Assuming you don't have any special read on MP3 as being tricky, I would go ahead and semibluff the turn.

I think I fold preflop. I'd want KTs before I steal in MP3. I'd steal with this on the button, however.

I think I bet the turn. I think you pick this up 2 out of 9 times, and if you don't, you have a good draw to back you up.

I think the turn is close. If the pot was bigger, I'd bet. With this small pot, I'll take a free card.

Pre-flop and flop are fine. I'd bet the turn as well.

If SB is super loose, he could be calling with a smaller flush draw, a straight draw or any pair.

You could take the free card and see what the river brings, but that might encourage SB to bet the river whatever falls.

I think that I would probably bet the turn as a semi-bluff as you have a flush draw and I doubt that SB has an A. If he check-raised, then I would call and fold the river UI.

Betting might also get you a free river showdown if you dont improve.

Not sure i like you pre-flop raise with that hand. I really needs to connect with the flop to be able to push postflop.

IMHO a turn bet should be based on a read. Will he fold a smaller pair, that is 9-7-2 or even a flush draw? - If so, then bet. Otherwise there is a big chance that you are behind, so just check it.

I would semibluff and bet this turn. Pf is also ok IMO after 4 folders.

Default interesting

if the pot was bigger in this same type of situation heads up, I think I would be less likely to bet. Because the pot is small, it is more likely that SB will lay his hand down to a bet...isn't it? If the pot was big and he had odds to call with mid pair, a bet is not really worth it imo. I don't mind betting this turn, but I don't think checking it is a bad route either. I am interested for you to elaborate on your reasoning for the small-pot turn check gopnik
