MP3 was real bad, pretty LAG, would overplay weak made hands

How bad was the preflop call??? I checked the flop with the intent of raising a LP bet. Fold, call, or 3-bet here?

That's what I thought. I knew I chickened out.
My preflop decision was influenced by my reads (basically, KJo isn't in bad shape against CO's likely raising hands, and SB's cold-calling hands), but for some reason I chickened out on the flop, and folded. It turned out that my reads were pretty much right on... In particular, note MP3 "pumping" his inside straight draw. I find that the game becomes much easier when you just ignore anything that a poor, short-stacked opponent does. Focus instead on the poor opponent(s) who are still in the hand with you, and extract the maximum from them in the side pot on the off chance that the all-in really does have you beat.
And .50/1 hands kinda do belong in microlimits. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
