That's why I like my idea below.

It's cheaper(far less appeals to worry about, death row inmates have full rights to go to the courts for almost any appeal, but regular inmates don't) and accomplishes the same thing hopefully.

They weren't released because they were innocent.

They were released because there wasn't enough evidence to give them the death penalty.

Some of them were given life in prison instead, btw, which obviously indicates that they were NOT innocent.

Read Tanner's post above-
13 people have been shown to be innocent as far as our best technology has been able to show that have ALready been executed. How many more have slipped through?

Im against it. For religious purposes, you should leave it up to God's judgement. If you want to get revenege, stick them in prison because that is much worse than death. At the very least, some people are innocent yet they are proven guilty.

I don't see the pro's in the death penalty.

No.
I am against the death penalty.

I completely understand that if a close friend/family member was murdered i would probably want the death penalty. But i also understand that response is exactly why we need a system to deal with criminals, and not the victims.

I'll even pull the switch, even though I'm neither Jewish nor a relitive of anyone killed under the Nazis.
I'm not against the death penelty at all, I'm jsut against using it in situations where the accused could be innocent.

"I'm pro suicide, pro assisted suicide, pro abortion, pro death penelty, basically anything that gets the freeway flowing faster I'm for."

I don't speak for all liberals, just myself. I would rather him be in prison for life without the possibility of parole. I would rather have him meet with psychologists/psychiatrists on a regular basis so we can figure out what makes a piece of §hit like that tic.

A ton of insecurities, a wicked oedipus complex, mild schizophrenia, an addiction to methamphedimeins, and a rummbling in the tummy that only the eradication of an entire race of people can satisfy.

There, now can we kill him.

I wouldn't want to understand what makes him tic or what made him do what he did.

There is no doubt that he is guilty so let him suffer a slow death, like he made the Jews in Auschwitz do.

Design a gas chamber for him and let him take 18 minutes to die.

He deserves it.
