Default The Most Amazing Things You\'ve Ever Seen

So what are the most amazing things you've seen in an SnG?

This is three consecutive hands from one last week:

*********** # 24 **************
Five players all in before the flop
Board [7c Td Tc Qd Ts]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
pktduece: shows [9s 9d] (a full house, Tens full of Nines)
SE7ENs: shows [8d 8c] (a full house, Tens full of Eights)
pktduece collected 410 from side pot-3
jlinthead: shows [Ad 6d] (three of a kind, Tens)
pktduece collected 930 from side pot-2
bna511: shows [5d 5c] (a full house, Tens full of Fives)
pktduece collected 1460 from side pot-1
xixannxix: shows [Jd Kh] (three of a kind, Tens)
pktduece collected 6475 from main pot

*********** # 25 **************
Three players all in before the flop.
Board [8d 9c 5h Tc Qd]
redrum711: shows [Ac Qh] (a pair of Queens)
pktduece: shows [Jc Ah] (a straight, Eight to Queen)
pktduece collected 1710 from side pot
tbrm1822: shows [Qs 6h] (a pair of Queens)
pktduece collected 570 from main pot

*********** # 26 **************
Two players all in after the flop.
Board [6c 9d 5s 8h 5d]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
pktduece: shows [9s Qh] (two pair, Nines and Fives)
SOSHHSB: shows [Ah 2h] (a pair of Fives)
pktduece collected 2450 from pot

From eight players to done in three hands.

And last night I had A6s in the big blind, caught the nut flush draw and bottom pair on the flop. The small blind kep making half-pot bets and I kept calling. I figured he had a flush draw and if he hit it I'd hit it harder. Next thing you know the river card comes (no flushes), the pot is $2400 and he has $155. He checks. I bet $155 hoping he has no pair. He folds. He folded a $2400 pot for $155. Granted, it was his last $155 but still.

I wouldnt call this amazing but was the most lag play Ive seen yet. In a $10 SnG last night, a player started pushing all-in on every hand on level 1. He knocked out 7 players and we were in the money in 29 hands. Was pretty amazing the number of pushes he won with garbage. I couldnt catch squat but made the money without playing a hand. Ended up going up against him with 99 and lost to T4o.

This is something I highly recommend:

every so often, buy into a $5 SNG and push every hand until you either win or get knocked out. It's good for you.

I don't have the hand history but from memory the hand went like this:

Two players all in before the flop
Hand 1: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hand 2: Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Turn: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
River: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hand 1 wins, four nines with an ace... ouch!

Sadly this wasn't a sit 'n' go, but the pot odds scenario is so funny that it felt like a SNG.

I thought I was going to outdo you here, but going from 8-players to finished in three hands is pretty exceptional.

Anyways, here is my contribution:

Board: [ Kc Jc Ts As Ac ]
AleoMagus balance 1630, bet 260, collected 670, net +410 [ Qc Tc ] [ Royal Flush -- Ac,Kc,Qc,Jc,Tc ]
aaronw4 balance 210, lost 260 [ Ah Ad ] [ four of a kind, aces -- Ah,Ad,As,Ac,Kc ]

Regards
Brad S
