raise more on the flop, or not at all

also, if youre not raising AQo UTG pf, what is your range for a UTG raise? just AA-JJ, AK?

I've been messing around with raising AQ+AQs..I am still not sure how is the best way to play it

any suggestions?

I almost always raise AK+AA-JJ and sometimes I raise TT-99 or other things depending on the table

Raising AQ from UTG was a leak for me. I have plugged it, and until I'm good enough, it is going to stay plugged

The only time I will raise it is if the table is passive enough. I limp AQ UTG if there are any LAG's behind who like to call a raise with any two because they have position.

(I tend to avoid raising dominated hands OOP and getting into a pizzing contest with LAGs when there are so many donks willing to pay me off in better spots.)

AQ is a difficult hand to play. i play it differently based on a lot of meta-game factors. in a normal-tight game, i mostly raise it from UTG, but there's nothing wrong with limping it. there are a lot of games where i don't raise anything from UTG.
