Default KK tough hand

Villain is 26/1 and seemed passive until this. The turn confused me. I hate the way I played this.

From my experience this is the exact way a donk plays a set at the lower limits. Raise flop (50/50 between raising and calling), check turn, and push river. Regardless, I'd be hard pressed to fold it, and in the heat of battle would probably make the wrong decision and call out of curiosity.

With a board like this you need to be worried about a set. You got check-raised on the flop and you are basically drawing to two outs if you are behind. SB is telling you that you are behind. Believe him and fold.

Your read says it all, man. Passive players don't C/R with QQ-99 or A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] here. You're beat on the flop with little chance to improve. It's a fold on the flop. Thank him for the stupid checkraise when you fold the flop because if he had led out, you'd have lost a lot more.
