Default How long?

Roughly how long would I have to play poker for probabilities to finally settle in? If I am playing 5 hours a week, do I have to wait about 10 years?

Thanks,

Sleeper

this depends on how many tables youre playing, if online, or if youre playing live.

100k hands is the common number for your bb/100 to set in. if live (assuming 35h/hr) youll need to play ~11 yrs to get that many hands.

The joke is no one's win rate stays constant for 11 years.

I would say, probabilities settle in with the first hand you play.
