Nope, only 100BB here. Can't stay off tilt long enough to lose much more than that.

-260BB at 2/4
6-tabling and was split between two different sessions during the day. I feel sad when I think about that day

On a related note, I've had a 2 week downswing at 5-10 shorthanded for about 2 grand. It sucks. I've won consistently in the past (started in August 04) at 50c/100 and made about 5 grand, and this is my biggest downswing ever. Nothing seems to go right.

What is an average downswing for a 5-10 shorthand hold em player? Is a 2 grand downswing large enough to indicate that my game (which has worked in the past) is broken and needs to be reworked? Or just some bad luck that I can anticipate bouncing back from?

Thanks,

Calcbandit ps sorry to hijack your topic.

200 BB downswings in a short game certainly happens to winning players with more regularity than one might think. that is why it is so important to be bankrolled properly.

this reply is not meant to say you don't have leaks to fix, BTW, just that 2K in the $5/10 short game is not unheard of.

cheers!

I think my worst day is somewhere in the 170 range as well.

I thought I'd be competitive in this one as I have a tough time quitting when stuck but I checked my spreadsheets and my worst was under 100BB. Knock on wood.

120 BB in 500 hands at 3/6 6 max (less than 20% at SD, including losing on one hand with quads)
