What time are opening lines put out?

I'm curious because I'm starting to bet baseball and I'd to be able to jump on lines that appear to be out of whack before they move. For example, I bet on the Expos today at +151, and the line has since slipped to +145. The opening line was +159, though, so I would have preferred to bet it then, obviously.

Some online books offer overnight lines, but usually with a maximum bet smaller than what they normally allow.
