as far as keeping 3 out of those 5, I'd likely keep Vlad, Sheffield, and Young, and then be pissed that I didnt have anybody better to replace Michael Young in my top 3 players.

Why the hard feelings towards Young? He was the #1 rated SS last year, in a great ballpark, and (no pun intended) young. For me the bigger debate is between Halladay and Sheffield.

Anybody wanna start a 2+2 keeper league?
I'm down.

Bugstud started one last year and ran it very well, if you need details on how to set it up, he'd probably be the guy to talk to.

I second the Bugstud notion! He ran it very well and I managed to finish first.

Thank you,

Was it set up as a keeper, or was it just a one year deal last year?

Hoping it was a one year fling so we can set up the keeper THIS year,

P. Dirty

yes it was set up as a keeper, nothing to stop you from setting up your own this year though.

Do you even have the rosters of the keeper kept anywhere?

I know I had Beltran, M. Giles, Peralta, Prior, ....

I finished 2nd last year, but this year I bring the championship home.

[/ QUOTE ]

Please. I have already clinched the championship for next year. My keepers are unstoppable. Just to let you know who you will be facing next year:

Santana
Wright
Hafner
Oswalt
F. Hernandez

And yes, this is a 12 team league. By those keepers, you would expect it's more like 6 teams.

As winner of last year's 2+2 Keeper League, I would love to dominate a new one as well. But I understand if everyone would like to keep me out and therefore have a chance at winning.

And I also agree that Bugstud was an excellent commish.

Lee had a great season, but I dont think it would be a stretch to say that someone with 80% of his production will be around in rounds 5/6/7.

I dont think I could take him in the 1st round.

I definately would not take Tejada in the first round. I like Young over Tejada anways as he was ranked higher after last year. I think Tejada could be in the post steroid number drop off. Not to mention the Orioles are a terrible team. I predict them to look up at the Devil Rays by seasons end.

I also think that Soriano's value drops with the trade to the Nationals. He moves from a favorable stadium to an unfavorable one.

My current Top 10:
1. A Rod
2. Pujols
3. Vlad
4. Johan Santana
5. Teixera
6. David Wright
7. Bobby Abreu
8. Crawford
9. Lee
10. Ortiz.

Next 20 would consist of Young, Soriano, Cabrera, Manny, Tejada, Jason Bay, Pedro, Carpenter, Oswalt, Peavy, Felix Hernandez, Halladay. I try to get atleast one stud pitcher in my first 3 rounds with 4 of 5 top picks going to hitters.
