Default 6k profit but start to be bored

hi all

I play low limit / bonus whoring. I am 6 k up now in 14 month ( 4k last 4 month) but lost more and more the fun to play poker. Guess the reason is that i play only for money/winning and poker is a total boring game for me......any other have this ??

I'm nowhere near that point, but I suspect this is your problem:

Play some of the time at low limits to maintain bankroll, and then try moving up (I'd say preferably at a B&M casino, but I'm biased) and see if the challenge comes back.

If not, find other ways to use your time. I'm sure there are other fun, profitable ways to use your time besides poker -- I just haven't found them yet.

If you're bored you're probably doing it right.

Switch to another game for a while, if you play limit holdem, try playing NL holdem or omaha h/l etc.. also dont play 8hrs a day... spend your winnings on something fun... a vacation or something, then you will see that you come back fresh and motivated! GL

when I come to think about it 6k is not a lot of money dont spend them, jump up a level and work on your play there, you will tend to be less focused on bonuses, and more focused on rakeback and leaks in your game.. soon enough you will be playing 50-100 GL

Nope. If you're bored, you're probably playing too low or not changing up games enough (N/L v. limit, adding stud or Omaha), taking breaks etc. It's pathetic if you're playing for money and have made only 6K in 14 months, counting bonuses.

guess the problem in moving up 1-2 levels is not the bankroll (2k for 0,5), it is more that i am still frustrated and negative if i loose 100. Concentrate is hard if u watch TV, surfing the web, call friends in the same time you play poker.

Hey 6K in 14 months isn't a huge amount. I personally don't think that it's worth being bored all the time.
My advice is, either find a way to make it fun again, or stop playing, at least for a while.
If you decide to try to make it fun, move up, play different games, etc.
I became bored some time ago, and moved up a few levels. that got the adrenalin pumping again.

So you're complaining that you're bored, but that you don't want to have to concentrate on your game . . . hmmmm. Not sure there's anything anyone can do for you. It's obviously time for you to move up, and just get used to the swings, but . . . *gasp* . . . you'd probably have to cut down on the internet surfing and phone calls for at least a little while.
