Best Plastic cards to get???
Hi guys, new to the Home Poker Games forum as I am working towards hosting my own game for the first time. My question is about KEM cards, I am sure this comes up often but my search didn't find anything.
Basically I am looking for what are considered the 'best' cards to get right now. I have read things about inferior KEM cards, imitators etc. I have heard people cite 30$ for a deck of KEMs but on Ebay they seem to be going for 10-15 a deck. What is the real, best quality deck I should be purchasing? Money is not a factor...

FYI, make sure you have a felt surface to play on first, otherwise you may end up with some bent up Kems and be out of luck.

With the bad run of Kems that have been coming out lately, I would go with Copaq cards. Checkout: http://www.cardsbycopag.com/
I have used Kem for many years and Copags are the only brand that has made me question dumping Kem altogether.

I decided to go with Copags (these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MESE:IT )
and with all that I've read about defective KEMS recently I'm glad I did. The Copags are awesome.

KEM decks have better colors. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
I bought a few KEM decks recently, and none of them had defects. Also, I found them for ~$10 for single decks or ~18.99 for double decks.

I've played with both and definitely prefer Kem cards. I've never had a defect and their designs (obviously subjective) are better, which to me, means more simple. Besides, the majority of tournaments I see on TV use KEM

So where is the best place to get them? Prices seem to vary a lot, and the first poster's mention of imitations/fakes has me a little worried. Also a lot of places that initially say they have them, say they're out when I go to check out. Very irritating.
