J/6 Blind Defense
Am I good enough here to call this river? Is the rest standard play?

Re: J/6 Blind Defense
well played. After inducing the bluff with 2nd pair HU, I am never folding this river.

Re: J/6 Blind Defense
I would check-raise this flop. Most opponents will bet anything they would call, but also some other stuff that they would fold if you bet. So you get 1 extra SB out of their pure bluffs (and sometimes 2 because they will often call your checkraise so they don't look bad). Plus, you have shown strength on a scary board so you can make an easier fold if they play back at you.

Re: J/6 Blind Defense
This is actually what I normally do if I flop top pair HU... With mid pair I usually take this route.

Re: J/6 Blind Defense
To me it looks like a situation where you are behind more when he bets the river than when he calls... so I would just bet.
