The turn checkraise looks bad for you, but I'd probably do the same thing you did.

A jack on the river could give you a chop or the whole pot (edit: there's a good chance you're up against a set or two pair, so the clubs shouldn't be a major concern either), and you may have outs against a two-pair hand too.

The king on the river could have saved you, but since you posted this hand, I doubt it did. (Edit: And, unfortunately, it could have also been what gave the pot to SB with, say, his A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].)

But the pot was big, and heads-up, I think it was worth hanging in until the end.

I think I would have played it just like you did.

Even if villain is loose I don't think he 3-bets preflop with many hands, probably just AA-QQ and AK, maybe JJ and AQ. A read on his pfr% would have been nice here.

I think there is almost no chance that AQ or JJ will checkraise you on that scary turn card. After your cap preflop he should have put you on at least AK. My guess is he's on KK or QQ but you might still be ahead to AK. The pot is big and I think your A and J outs are worth around 3-4 outs so I would definitely call the raise when the pot is laying you 15 to 1.

When the river K falls I don't see any reasonable hands you beat. But I guess I would call anyway hoping to split with AA or every 1/1000 hands or so drag the entire pot against AQ or JJ...
