You have the nuts, bet it. You can reconsider given your opponents actions, but planning to check/fold right here and now is terribly weak

checking planning to fold is pretty stupid... check planning to see what happens... folding, of course, may be a fine play if there is action.

Whoa! Sure, you have the current nuts and no redraws, but check-folding on the flop is pretty weak.

You have a couple of options here. You can lead out and hope to narrow the field, possibly picking up the small pot, which wouldn't be bad. In this case, the turn card will serve to guide you future decisions. If a blank falls, fire away.

The other option is to go for the check/raise. If you whiff, you can then just pot the turn and hopefully pick it up right there.

The worst thing that could happen is for you to lead on the flop and get raised. You could consider laying it down then, but wait to see what happens before deciding to basically muck the current nuts.

check call and bet turn if nothing scary came wouldn't be bad either. i tend to bet out and see what happens. raise means i depart.

I would check/call to keep the pot relatively small and fire away on the turn if a blank comes (about even money). If I'm raised on the turn, getting freerolled would be too much of a threat and I could lay down the hand, losing a not too big investment. Does it make sense?

Check folding the nuts on the flop is a very weak tight play.

I agree but folding in an unraised pot that has lots of people in it just seems like fun and provides nice discussion. Anyways the hand was easier than originally thought...

Final Pot: $2.95

If the turn is a blank I'm not sure if I would bet or not though.
