Seat 9: AAvKK ($20.70 in chips)
Seat 10: Lepedidus ($14.75 in chips)
ANTES/BLINDS
Sayry28 posts blind ($0.15), ginner x posts blind ($0.25).

Hero has pocekt 9s here.

Should I have called the flop and raise the turn on any non scary card? Or should I have just mucked it on the flop. What about re-raising preflop? Comments, suggestions, ideas?

I think you had to fold preflop because 99 is no enough hand to call a early bet.

Wrong. You flop a set you're taking all his money.

Fold to flop bet.

Without reads this is a raise or fold situation. If I'm feeling frisky I might raise and fold if villain shows any additional aggression. Most of the time I play 99 for set value, so I dump it.

Now like you said, depending on if you are feeling frisky and read dependant, you mean raise the flop? Or pre-flop?

I meant the flop. I would only do it if I thought my raise would take it down there. I don't want a big pot, but calling down larger turn and river bets isn't going to define villain's hand.

Full ring I will open raise with 99 from mid positions on, but I usually just play it for set value.
