Default How many NL tables do you play?

I play 1-3 NL tables at a time(usually 2 at a time). I feel like it would be easier to play more limit tables than No Limit. Is this correct? How many tables do you feel comfortable playing? Is there an optimal number of tables that a player should strive for ? Or does that optimal number change for each person?
Thank you for any answers!

Whether you go for BB/100 or BB/hour is in my book a factor.

That number definitely changes from person to person. Your own optimal level is pretty much based on how comfortable you feel. If you feel uncomfortable/rushed/confused you are playing too many. If you are bored, you are playing too few.

When working on your game, or moving up limits, you should probably play fewer than your personal limit. Once comfortable with a game/limit, you can push your bounds a little bit as long as you are comfortable.

I play 5 on a laptop. I deal with significant overlap (I only see 1/2 inch of the side of the 5th table).

I play 4. I feel that if I play any more, I'm not "having fun", I'm a bit stressed, and I don't get to do little bluffs and things like that, which make the game more fun.

Less than 4 is boring once you've played more than 4 imo..

Only played for a couple weeks (took a break for few months and didn't play much before) but I'm up to 3 now and thinking of adding another one. More than 4 seems too much though imo. Although I'm used to having "lots to do" from other games such as warcraft3 where I play on proffessional level.. I guess that helps.
Oh and I play 6max, I can imagine 10max is easier with more tables?

I tend to start off with 2 6-max or 3 Full Ring.

Once I warm up and if I feel in my comfort zone I then add one more.

I can play 5 Full Ring or 4 6-max but usually only on lower limts when bonus whoring - it gets me a little close to burn out...

That said I'm a sLAG player with Vp$iP about 25% in Full Ring - if I was TAG I could add another table easily I would guess..

I know AP10 plays an obscene number of hours/week 8-tabling NL Ring - he does have dual monitors and a TAG game though..

Limit is more mechanical so I guess it would be easier - I have heard of folks 12 or even 16 tabling limit games but to be honest I think the future of the online game looks set more for 6-max NL - that's where the most players are now for sure.. and I think 4 tabling that is plenty

Usually 2-4 6-max. I like constantly having to do sth, i think it helps me stay focused.

I get bored playing any less than 3 and find my hand discipline decreases the fewer tables I play
