Re: Advice on Moving Beyond 30/60 Online
It's pretty frustrating, but there's an issue with the extent of my youth. Soon though ... soon. Enough said?

The bigger games usually last like 2hrs before they break up. That's my limited experience though.

Nothing bigger than 30-60 in Vancouver, I believe. [/ QUOTE ] Is the 200/400 at Tulalip not going anymore? |

Just heard they spread those limits every so often. Trip down to vegas is probably the best idea. You can fly from Seattle dirt cheap. ~500$ US for flight + 3 nights at a hotel on strip (places like Paris, Treasure Island, etc.) |

UB 50/100 is sometimes fishy, with people sitting shortstacked and "taking a shot". The 80/160 game is usually tough IMO. I know that Interpoker has higher games that are usually running, though I have never played there so I cannot comment on them. I suggest that you play more shorthanded at 30/60, even if the game is not fishy. Higher limits online are quite often shorthanded games. [/ QUOTE ] IMO, the UB games have sucked as of late. Yes, like you said, the occasional guy playing the last $2k in his account, but otherwise, the 50/100 has seen piejay, hopelep, a bunch of 2+2ers (Barron, Stox, etc.) and even a few of the 300/600 players in it (THF, Far and Flopjunkie for example). I need to play against this lineup like I need a hole in the head. Nigel |

Re: Advice on Moving Beyond 30/60 Online
If he's playing 4 tables of 30/60 that's almost 150/300 (figure more hands on line) live.
Unless he jumps in the 400/800 at the Bellagio or something it's going to mean less $$/hour. I think he should take shots at stars or party's biggest games with an amount he feels comfortable blowing. No shame in dropping some bucks in those games. |

this post is really refreshing. for once someone comes asking this kind of stuff, and actually seems like he knows what he's talking about! [/ QUOTE ] Personally I'm sick to death of people who post winrates as if we can evaluate something from them, especially when its something like 3.4 BB/100 quad tabling 30/60. |
